This human teeth anatomical model shows a set of 16 permanent human teeth (half of a complete set), 2 times life size. It is good for showing the different types of teeth and explaining how they work in biting and chewing.
From a dentist's perspective, teeth are numbered in a clockwise direction, starting with the upper right third molar (wisdom tooth) as number 1 and progressing around the mouth, ending with the lower right third molar as number 32.
The model is hand-painted for accurate colouring and detailing and is supplied with an English key card to identify the numbered structures. It is used for teaching and learning about the anatomy of the human teeth in medical schools, biology classes and other educational settings.
