Human Elbow Joint Anatomical Model, Life Size

This model is a life-size representation of the human elbow joint, featuring the upper portions of the radius and ulna, the lower part of the humerus, and the ligaments of the elbow. It allows for flexion, demonstrating the interaction between bones and cartilage within the joint, and is specifically designed for teaching purposes, particularly to illustrate a hinge joint.

Feature:

• Life-size: The model is scaled to the actual dimensions of a human elbow.
• Bony Components: It includes the upper portions of the radius and ulna, and the lower half of the humerus.
• Ligaments: The model incorporates ligaments of the elbow joint, which are crucial for stability.
• Flexibility: The model can flex, allowing for a demonstration of how the bones and cartilage interact during movement.
• Hinge Joint Illustration: The model is designed to clearly show how the elbow functions as a hinge joint.

Educational Applications:

• Anatomy Instruction: The model is suitable for teaching the anatomy of the elbow joint, including the bones, ligaments, and their interactions.
• Joint Function: It can be used to demonstrate the mechanics of flexion and extension at the elbow.
• Hinge Joint Explanation: The model is particularly useful for illustrating the principles of a hinge joint to students or patients.
