Description

Specification

This 24 Well PCR Cooler is designed to maintain low temperatures for PCR samples and protect sensitive biological materials during handling, storage, and transfer.

Its low-temperature indicator technology ensures users can visually monitor temperature changes, reducing the risk of sample degradation or contamination.

Intended Use & Applications

This icebox cooler is suitable for sample collection and preservation in molecular biology, cell biology, and new drug development research.

It supports ice bath functions, sample transfer, and storage of cryopreserved materials, helping prevent enzyme inactivation and ensuring controlled thawing of frozen samples.

Temperature-Sensing & Visual Indicator

It features an automatic temperature-sensing colour change. When the temperature drops below 0°C, the colour of the ice box changes from light blue to deep blue, providing an immediate visual cue of temperature status.

If the temperature exceeds 7°C, the colour shifts from dark blue to light blue, signalling that the maximum safe limit has been reached.

Convenient Tube Compatibility

With 24 wells, this low-temperature ice box accommodates 1.5ml and 2ml microcentrifuge tubes.

Users should freeze the cooler with the side to be used facing down and ensure it is completely frozen, typically after 24 hours, for optimal performance. It allows straightforward placement of tubes, plates, or centrifuge tubes into the wells for safe sample handling
